Case Study: Worthen Industries

For over 1.5 years, Butler Electric has been working with Renewvia to estimate, plan, and install a solar panel project in Grand Rapids, MI. Renewvia helps companies develop, design, and install renewable energy solutions. The solar project took place at Worthen Industries, which specializes in sustainable approaches to extrusions, coatings, and adhesives, making solar panels perfectly aligned with their mission and vision.

The last six months of the project included the addition of over 1,600 solar panels, 6,000 feet of conduit, and 80,000 feet of sunlight resistant wire on the roof of the Worthen Industries building.

All members of the Butler Electric team assisted in completing this project. This project was a large undertaking due to the number of solar panels installed, but the clean and flat roof, accommodating staff at Worthen, and great weather helped the project get completed by the deadline.
